MSM is led by Miranda Moeller, our Director of Christian Education and Youth Ministries, Youth Council and parent volunteers. MSM generally meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month for a series of program designed around faith formation, fellowship, and mission-centered group activities. Community outreach projects will also involve interacting with other youth from their church school and surrounding community. MSM also serves as the mission and social component for our 8th grade Confirmation Program. Scheduled events during the school year will build a strong fellowship among our youth in Middle School. They will also join in with TFG for pizza in between the two youth groups’ meetings.
Outreach projects include the Halloween Happening for the younger children of our church, Advent Workshop, Children’s Sunday Service, caroling during the holidays, shopping for stocking stuffers for Covenant to Care foster youth, preparing and serving a meal at a homeless shelter, support for an area animal shelter, Foodshare Wallk for Hunger, and preparing health kits for Church World Service. Fellowship activities are also regularly scheduled, including movie nights, game nights, whirly ball, sledding, laser tag, mini golf, bowling, and scavenger hunts. Youth are encouraged to bring their friends.
