High School Youth Group: "Teens for God" (TFG)
TFG is led by Miranda Moeller, our Director of Christian Education and Youth Ministries, Youth Council, youth members and parent volunteers. TFG meets weekly (Sunday evenings) for a series of events and programs designed around fellowship, faith formation, and mission-centered group activities. Scheduled events during the school year will build a strong fellowship among our youth in grades 9 through 12. Youth are encouraged to bring their friends. There is an Outreach component as well. TFG and Avon Congregational Church’s ACCtions high school youth group will plan and execute fundraisers for our joint annual mission trip during the month of March. Planned fundraisers for 2010/2011 include:
- The Car Hop (October)
- Mission Trip Stock Sale (January)
- Open Mic Night (February)
- Mission Trip Stock Holder Dinner (April)
